The Effect of Maximal Exercise Loading on the Serum Lipid Level in the Obese Women College Students

Abstract
The Effect of maximal exercise loading on the serum lipid level in obese woman college students
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of maximal exercise loading on the serum lipid level in obese woman college students. The task force of this study consists of 23 healthy woman college students.
They are classified into the obese group and the normal group. Starting with 4 km/hr of walking they perform a treadmill exercise with gradually increasing speed of 1km/hr per minute.
@ES Their exercise continues to the all-out stage.
@EN Ten ml of blood is sampled from their Median antecubital vein before and after the exercise. The data are analyzed with t-test t measure the difference between the obese group and the normal group. The significance level used for the analysis
is
0.05.
@ES The results of this study are as follows:
@EN
1. At pre-exercise resting state, the blood lipid level TC, TG, LDL-C for the obese group is somewhat highier than that for the normal group, and in HDL-C level, the normal group has somewhat highier value than the obese group. But no
statistically
significant difference is seen(p>0.05).
2. After maximal exercise, the blood lipid level of TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C are elevated statistically(p<0.05), but no statistically significant difference is seen between the obese group and the normal group.
